Talk¶
The main way into Areto — a single conversation surface. Write anything: Areto responds taking into account your history, current emotional state, and past conversations.
What greets you¶
When you open a conversation, Areto greets you, shows today's date and place, and asks what's on your mind. The first time you come in on a given day, the greeting is a little warmer.
You're offered three ways in right away. Tap any of them, or just start writing:
- 🫧 Vent — say what's on your mind. No structure, no required action at the end; Areto listens and gently notices links to the past.
- 🪞 Work it through — untangle one specific situation. More in Analyze a Situation.
- 🔍 Dig deeper — get to the root: separate facts from noise, surface hidden assumptions.
How it works¶
By default Areto stays a mirror and won't go deep without your invitation. Depth turns on when you ask for it — with words like "break this down", "why is that", "dig deeper", or by tapping the matching option. The further you go, the closer to a concrete takeaway or a next step.
Voice
You can speak instead of typing — Areto recognises speech. See the Voice section.
